The Los Angeles Lakers thumping of the Orlando Magic in the 2009 NBA Championship Series Finals on ABC Sports provided viewers with a week’s worth of memorable physical matchups between league superstars, heart-stopping, buzzer-beating 3-point shots and historic overtime games. It also included some of the best-looking high-definition (HD) replays ever seen in an NBA telecast.

Helping viewers and announcers analyze plays onscreen was the Grass Valley LDK 8300 high-definition Super Slo-Mo camera system, which provided crystal clear replays at 3X speed. Two Grass Valley LDK 8300 Super Slo-Mo cameras were provided by U.S. rental giant Bexel Broadcast Services and used by production company NEP Supershooters in the camera’s 3X mode for the entire Western Conference Championship series between the Lakers and the Denver Nuggets as well as the league Finals…
