Bexel Broadcast Services and Luminys Systems Corp. announced today that Bexel will now carry the Luminys award-winning Lightning Strikes® and SoftSun® lights in its Dallas facility, servicing Texas, New Mexico, Louisiana and other nearby states.
Lightning Strikes® is the premiere tool for creating simulated lightning or flash effects. Each fixture provides from 8K to 500K watts of precisely controlled output, to generate the desired dramatic effect. SoftSun® fixtures provide from 3.3K to 100K of continuous light, dimmable down to 3% of maximum output without change in color temperature.
Luminys’s patented products have garnered two Technical Achievement Awards from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and a Primetime Emmy from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, and have been used on thousands of feature films, television series, commercials, concerts, and other productions. Luminys and Bexel also plan to collaborate to supply Lightning Strikes® and SoftSun® to major sporting and other live events.
