A Bexel BFS Success Story They were hot off of the Democratic National Convention - 2008 and Scott Nardelli received major compliments from the clients served. This moved him to send a note of thanks to his team (printed with permission, below)... Gentlemen: It is sometimes hard to see or even get feedback on your hard work, so it is with great pride in our team that I pass on these notes from Pete and Jack below. We were under a lot of pressure to pull this all together in a short period of time -from building out the trailer to cabling and configuring the router and multiviewer. In the end, after a lot of weekends, late nights and long hours it all came together "¦and it showed! Our up time at the event was 100%. Our self inflicted problems were zero. Everyone who came by our ESU said "Wow" and that's what it is all about. We faxed our systems early and the well thought out design gave us the ability to isolate and solve client issues in a matter of minutes. We raised the bar on this one and I think everyone who touched this project as well as those who kept all the other business flowing while we were putting this together deserves a heart felt "Great Job" from me. Also, I can't forget the quote from Jack either when he moved to ["˜competitor X'] for Thursday night's speech and tried to find their way through the new comms set up"¦ And I quote: "This was a lot easier when Bexel was here". Best Regards, Scott FROM PETE"¦ "Thanks Everyone!I don't think I could say it any better than Jack, so I'll second the motion. Working with Jack and Maureen was a very rewarding, and different experience for this "sports" guy". Technically, TV is TV, but this type of event presented many different challenges, as well as nuances to tried and true procedures. We benefited from top notch facilities and engineering from Coplex and Game Creek mobile units. Bexel in particular stepped up to the plate and hit it out of the park. Those impeccable assets combined with a seasoned, top notch crew, gave Jack, Jen, John, and Dan, all the tools and toys. And what a job they did with them! Feedback from the crew was very positive as well. I've received numerous calls, e-mails, and text messages, from colleagues and casual viewers, which ranged from praiseful congrats to Wow! "¦Well done Pool gang, and thanks for smooth remote..." ________________________________________ FROM JACK"¦ "It's time to say goodbye and thanks again. This time around it was a much bigger challenge with a whole freelance crew. I was very lucky in choosing the right people. Peter took me into the new age of HD and all the problems that come with it. His hard work and knowledge made a very difficult double location remote work under very difficult conditions. He took every thing we threw at him, including skycam, and made it all work. He hired Bexel to handle the distribution which worked so well. We all worked hard and I hope gave you the kind of convention pool you wanted. I've enjoyed working with old friends and new ones. I thank you for the opportunity again. I wish you well in St. Paul -- and the quiet convention..."
