Now that the dust has almost settled I want to take a minute and say "THANKS" for all your help at the DNC Convention. We were part of an outstanding team, a team who did great work. Not good work, but great work. We had our hands full. You lead a tech team who gave us 100% all the time. Everyone worked very hard and it showed on-the-air. Most of the shots were pretty much as I imagined they'd be. As big as Invesco is, we made it look both expansive and cozy. Then, almost out of nowhere, we welcomed SkyCam into the fold. I hope the Nets got their hundred-thou worth. I thought we worked it well into the show. We got a lot of great shots; shots that will be remembered and used for a long time. My hands get very full when I'm directing about six or seven cameras. For three nights we had ten cameras; Thursday at Invesco Field, fourteen cameras. I tried to keep the shots varied and interesting... and the pace, varied and interesting. I kept the crew pretty busy. Both Bexel trucks performed flawlessly. The pictures were gorgeous. Good call on the Bexel routing/distribution truck. I can't wait to work with every member of THAT crew again. As I've tried to document above, it was a great effort, by all of us. Thanks your help. See you down the road. Dan --Dan Glovach, Director - DNC Pool Show
