BBS ONE"¦that is!
Field editing system components were traditionally shipped in cases and set up at live event venues in rented trailers. That may have been serviceable, but was hardly ideal, especially for a January playoff game in Green Bay! That is why Bexel created BBS ONE as a complete edit command center on wheels.
Its well-designed and appointed edit suites 1 and 2, on-board IT connectivity, and access to Bexel's full range of totally modular edit and production equipment provide a comfortable working environment and unmatched flexibility to meet high-level editing needs at the most demanding live event productions.
As a result, BBS ONE has supported all of the major networks at nearly every top-flight live event nationwide, including this year's Final Four. Even though production was the top priority, Bexel's Director of BBS Technical Sales, Lee Estroff was on hand to present a mini-open house, which allowed a dozen influential broadcasters from CBS Sports and technical specialists from F&F Productions to tour the truck and see the new Sony HD linear edit bay and two Avid HD non-linear edit bays at work.
This was one of many on-site "˜open house' events that Bexel Broadcast Services has sponsored and produced in an effort to further the knowledge and understanding of emerging technologies and get real-world input from the broadcast community.
