Bexel Supports NBA Entertainment and Turner Broadcasting NBA All Star Weekend paid its first visit to Las Vegas earlier this month, and received such an enthusiastic welcome and near-frantic media coverage that league and city officials are already looking for ways to schedule future NBA events here.

Pace Technologies and Bexel helped make a high profile 3D HD demo a must-see audience event that included NBA players and dozens of other VIP's. BBS also provided NBA Entertainment and Turner Sports with a plethora of linear and non-linear edit bays. Turner Sports utilized our 53' fully expandable mobile edit unit, BBS #1, outfitted with three HD Avid Adrenaline edit rooms. This was the first event carried out under Bexel and Virtual Media's new cooperative agreement, and it went off without a hitch.

BexelASG was also out in force for this event, supplying Dolby and digital conversion equipment, plus a Calrec system that supported the 3D HD demo. Bexel provided an extensive complement of broadcast fiber systems, HD cameras, decks, plasma screens, LCD's and other products again this year to Turner Sports and NBA Entertainment.
