Bexel at NAB ...Part Two

The United States sports production community was in full force at the year's most important TV-driven convention, the National Association of Broadcasters. Bexel Broadcast Services has been attending the NAB for over 20 years but, this year was different. Instead of hitting the show floor as a 'visitor', this time Bexel came in as an 'Exhibitor' - with a fresh new look and feel. The brand made it very clear to the TV broadcast and sports communities that it had also arrived in full force, with several targeted promotional events and media presentations. Here is a full list of Bexel involvement in this year's show:

SVG Chairman's Retreat (April 11-13) Two days of pre-show networking, information exchange and one-on-ones at Lake Las Vegas - exclusive attendance by SVG executive board, advisory board members, invited guests and Platinum and event sponsors. As a Platinum Sponsor, Bexel provided all A/V and tech support while joining in on the greatest exclusive networking opportunity that our industry offers.

SVG Industry Pre-Party (April 13) The entire sports community turns out for the official sports kick-off to NAB - the place where everyone meets before they head to the floor the next morning. Bexel provided the A/V and tech support and once again was there to network with its top US clients

SVG Beijing Workshop (April 15) 9:30-4:00 PM An all day seminar at the LVCC that dives into the new technologies that will be used in the first ever all HD Olympics broadcast. Featured speakers include NBC Olympics, Euro Media, Visions, Panasonic, EVS, Microsoft, Alfacam and Bexel. Bexel on A/V and tech support and Bexel on the HD "Flypack" panel discussion, featuring Bexel VP/GM Craig Schiller, who is heavily involved in the 2008 Olympic package.

And, of course, there was our base camp - the Bexel Broadcast Services booth in the "Vitec Village" - Main Hall - Booth # C5912. This year, for the first time in Bexel history, we came to the show as Bexel Broadcast Services - one brand, many service offerings.

Our efforts in re-branding have allowed us to unify all service groups under the Bexel brand, bring a new sense of style to the subsidiary logos and present a fresh, clean look. We are more powerful when we act as one.
