Bexel and Atlantic Video put together a buffet table of HD products for attendees of this cooperative event "“ held in the heart of Washington D.C. HD acquisition, workflow, and HD equipment was the focus of this high-profile event on Stage 1 at AV's newly renovated facility. Sony, Panasonic, Evertz, 3G, Vitec Camera Dynamics, CEI, and Blue Land Media's RED Camera showcased their latest solutions to the D.C. production market.

Bexel provided much of the HD equipment on hand, along with demo equipment from the manufacturers. HD RF, RED Cam workflows, P2, HD XDCam, and Evertz MVP Multi-Viewer gave all the participants an opportunity to get some "˜hands on' time with the latest HD products. Atlantic Video toured the showcase attendees through their newly renovated facility including the new Calrec 5.1 audio room and the Miranda Kaliedo-X suite. A diverse cross-section of the local D.C. broadcast community participated in the day-long event including, CBS, NPR, Potomac Television, Discovery Studios, U.S State Department, CPG, and several independent producer's and editors.

Calrec 5.1 audio, 3G Wireless' HD RF CamPac, and the RED Camera were big hits at the event. Len Donovan from Camera Dynamics demonstrated Sachtler's newest tripod support system "Soom", a four-in-one tripod, hot pod, hi-boy, and baby legs. In addition to the HD equipment, accessories, and support equipment, Bexel gave attendees a tour of their new website, "Hot Items" at BVG's year-end sale, and an overview of Bexel's new "Hercules" HD flypack.
