Success Stories - Bexel ASG Expands Calrec Territory

Bexel ASG (Audio Specialties Group) is proud to be one of the exclusive, worldwide distributors of Calrec audio products. "It's like having a Rolls Royce showroom in the office" says Jim Richardson, Director of Sales for Bexel. "We are very proud to have been awarded this prestigious privilege - to be one of two US distributors of the finest pro audio consoles in the world. Bexel ASG has always viewed the Calrec product line as a premium that aligns with the live-event broadcast customers and the events that are a staple of our core business".

March 2007 saw and expansion of Bexel ASG's territory - western Canada and a major portion of the central, southeastern, and east coast states were added to ASG's existing western U.S. Calrec sales distribution territory.

Richardson continues, "Many of our clients expect to see a Calrec console as part of large studio and OB truck infrastructures. Calrec has become the benchmark for broadcast consoles in trucks, particularly for live sports coverage. They have a reputation for quality and long-term reliability as well as excellent audio performance. Calrec's technical support is world class, and a 24/7 support line has recently been launched to assist any customer with any questions or technical support whether it be day or night".

The expanded territory now gives ASG a large national footprint. Rhett Frazier, National Sales Manager for Bexel/ASG is the primary contact for everything west of Texas and up into western Canada. The newly expanded central and east coast/southeastern region is being covered by sales veteran Helen Carr. Helen is based in Bexel's Washington DC office and has hit the ground demonstrating and promoting the full line of Calrec consoles including the Alpha, Sigma and Zeta. All of Calrec's consoles have the option for their cutting edge (and proprietary) BLUEFIN 5/1 Surround technology.

For all technical support needs, Helen and Rhett will be backed by Bexel ASG's Jim Dugan on the east coast and ASG Chief Engineer Andrew McHaddad, working from Bexel world Headquarters in Burbank, California.
