Sales Account Executive - Herndon, VA, New York City or Burbank

Bexel Broadcast Services the world's leading provider of broadcast production rental equipment and systems design and the preeminent broadcast service resource offering 24/7/365 broadcast equipment rental services is looking for a senior level Sales Account Executive in our Herndon, VA, New York City, or Burbank location. This position requires a unique mix of technical knowledge, organizational abilities, leadership attributes, and sales skills. 

The main areas of responsibility are:

Attract new business in concert with the Bexel defined growth strategy

Build lasting relationships based on value with new clients

Represent Bexel at a senior level within client organization

Negotiate contracts based on value proposition and competitive offering

Work knowledgably with engineering staff to properly outline opportunity and recommend a strategic response.

Develop strategic plans to execute on the Bexel strategy for assigned territory, market and individual accounts.

Possess an excellent working knowledge of the broadcast industry from a technology perspective and be able to discuss solutions effectively with clients

Ability to manage client and organizational resources to meet overall objectives

The successful candidate will have an established network of business within the location being considered. Proven networking skills and participation in industry events, seminars and associations. Professional business development and consultative sales skills. Organized and effective in the use of Salesforce database. Self-motivated, resourceful, well organized with excellent written, verbal and analytical skills. A strong leader that is goal and achievement oriented with the ability to effectively convey the potential, associated risks and financial impact of opportunities and business relationships clearly and accurately to Senior Management. 

Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Electrical Engineering or Broadcast Operations preferred with a minimum of 5 years experience in major equipment sales/rentals to the broadcast market and a minimum 3 years experience in account management and development.

Operations Supervisor - New York

Bexel Broadcast Services, a worldwide provider of broadcast video and audio equipment rental, sales and services for the television production industry is looking for Operations Supervisor at our New York location.  This position is responsible for overall management of the Operations department and staff, the design and implementation of systems and procedures for inbound and outbound equipment flow, shipping, receiving, inventory control, equipment delivery logistics, warehousing management, equipment cleanliness and basic maintenance, and management of the fleet.

The successful candidate will have at least two years supervisory experience managing people and processes, and have excellent communication skills. Must be customer service oriented with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.  Ability to work weekends when required, travel when necessary and have the ability to lift and move 75lbs.

Video Quality Control Technician - New York


Bexel Broadcast Services, a worldwide provider of broadcast equipment rental, sales and services for the television production industry is looking for a Quality Control Technician at our New York office.

The responsibilities are checking, maintaining, and engineering broadcast video equipment. This position also requires customer service to clients both on the phone and in person. Additionally this position entails working closely with our Operations Department to assure outgoing orders are properly packaged and in excellent, presentable condition.

This is a challenging position for an individual who is highly self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced setting. Must have flexibility in work schedule, as occasional weekend and evening work may be required. Must be able to lift equipment weighing up to 100 pounds.

Operations/Driver - Burbank

Bexel Broadcast Services, a worldwide provider of broadcast equipment rental, sales and services for the television production industry is looking for Operations/Driver position available at our Burbank location. This position is responsible for driving company owned vehicles within the greater Los Angeles area and for loading and unloading audio and video equipment as required at both company and customer locations. The position is also responsible for shipping, receiving, inventory control and completing driving logs.

The successful candidate will be customer service oriented, have a neat appearance, and be a team player with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Shipping and receiving experience in a warehouse environment and the ability to lift and move 75lbs. Computer skills a plus. Ability to work weekends and overtime when required and travel when necessary.

Broadcast Video Engineer - Chicago 

Bexel Broadcast Services, a worldwide provider of broadcast equipment rental, sales and services for the television production industry is looking for a Broadcast Video Engineer in our Chicago office.

The responsibilities are performing routine maintenance by evaluating performance and appearance of equipment by checking, repairing, and systematizing broadcast video, audio, and computer equipment. The Engineering Department coordinates and assists the Rental and Operation Departments with any engineering needs be it operational information, specifications, or recommendations. This position also requires customer service to clients both on the phone and in person. Bexel delivers only the highest quality service to our clients and you can be a part of the team that delivers it.


The successful candidate will have proven experience in multiple format VTR and Camera adjustment and repair. Proficient in software-driven broadcast video equipment and familiar with formats including Betacam, DigiBeta, DV, DVCPro, and HD. Should have the ability to perform component level repairs on a range of broadcast video equipment. Experience working with analogue and digital switchers, routers, CG’s, DVE’s, DDR’s, Still Storers, and terminals including scan converters, color correctors, monitors, and systems integration. Video and Audio Rentals Account Assistant - Burbank

Bexel Broadcast Services is looking for Video and Audio Rentals Account Assistant in our Burbank office. This support role provides administrative assistance to the rentals Account Executives with the day-to-day management of client accounts and fulfillment of rental contracts and on a regular basis interacts with our engineering, operations, accounting, and asset management staff.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Completion of billing process for Account Executives; liaison with customers and with accounting staff
  • Procure and generate purchase orders for video and audio rental equipment to fulfill rental contracts
  • Review daily transaction reports and assist in researching billing and contract job costing issues
  • Process external repair orders, order parts and track status
  • Assist with general office administration including internal communications, answering phones, filing, mailings, etc.
The successful candidate will be well-organized and extremely detail-oriented. Candidates must also be a proactive team player and have excellent communication skills with an eye for how to improve process efficiencies.

Candidates should have 5+ years experience in support role, emphasis on multi-tasking and 2+ years experience with broadcast level Video and Audio equipment. Good computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel and an aptitude for learning new systems quickly and thoroughly.
